Why Choose Apollo?

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. We build small, dedicated teams around each individual - because every person we support has unique needs!

We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage boy living at home with his family in Loughborough. This role includes both day and night shifts, providing dedicated 1:1 care at home and in school.

Meet Our Client

You will be supporting a friendly teenage boy who lives at home with his family and their dog. He enjoys listening to audiobooks, attending Youth Club, and relaxing with his favourite TV shows and DVDs.

During day shifts, you will accompany him to school, ensuring his clinical needs are met while supporting him to engage fully in classroom activities, something he genuinely enjoys.

Applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle.

What You’ll Need

Minimum 3 months’ care experience
Confident with medication administration
Personal care & moving and handling experience
Clear communication skills
Pet friendly (dog in the property)
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.

What We Offer

Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
Regular confirmed rotas
Flexible full-time and part-time hours
Reward & recognition programme
Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
Funded training and opportunities to develop clinical skills (though attendance is unpaid)
We work in line with the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment - and we’re looking for people who share those values.
