Summary

Location: Bisham Abbey, Marlow, SL7 1RR Salary: £12.21 plus excellent benefits Schedule: Part time hours 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday flexible on working days and hours. Shift patterns for the position will vary, our opening hours are 6am-10pm Monday – Friday and 7am-6pm Saturday and Sunday so would vary on a rota system depending on business needs
Operations Assistant

As an Operations Assistant in our Citizen Services – Sport England team, you’ll help ensure our facilities run safely, smoothly and with a warm, customer first experience. Your work supports the delivery of sport, leisure, hotel and event services that make a positive impact on local communities.
You’ll play a key part in creating a safe, welcoming and well-run environment — from operational readiness, to cleanliness, to enabling memorable experiences for everyone who uses our facilities.
What you’ll do as an Operations Assistant You’ll be entrusted to:

Manage the facility during your shift, including opening and closing procedures

Ensure all colleagues work in a safe environment and complete required health and safety checks
-
Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout your working shift
-
Follow instructions from line managers to support smooth operations
-
Monitor stock, ensure adequate supplies and place necessary orders
-
Support quality management across the site to maintain excellent service levels
-
Help ensure all facilities are well maintained and fit for purpose
Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

Experience in the leisure or tourism industry

Strong customer care skills and a keen eye for detail

Effective communication skills and confidence interacting with colleagues and visitors

Planning ability and a methodical approach

Experience in related areas such as catering, conferencing or housekeeping (advantageous)
