Summary


Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust and Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust are merging to form a new organisation on 1 April 2026. Both organisations are high performing, and the combination of the two Trusts will bring exciting opportunities for the continuing development of services to our patients.

We are looking for a motivated and engaged person to help us with the financial aspects of the merger. The role will include general ledger maintenance and management accounts work, and can be tailored to the experience of the successful applicant.

We welcome part time applicants and those looking for flexible working arrangements.



Duties will be tailored to the experience of the individual, but are expected to include:
• General ledger maintenance work - resolving differences arising from the merger of two financial ledgers, resolving items in balance sheet reconciliations, and maintaining the integrity of the Trust’s merged financial systems
• Management accounts work - management accounting and financial reporting for various areas of the organisation
• Financial reporting - producing budgets, forecasts and performance reports

With effect from 1 April 2026 Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Trust will be merging with Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust to form a new organisation. The new Trust will provide a wide range of community health and social care services to over 4 million people, with a budget of circa £380 million and a workforce of over 7,000 people.
