Starting in mid-2026 we’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our HR team and support us across all areas of HR. This is a varied, fast paced role, ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll gain exposure to the full spectrum of HR, including:
• Recruitment and onboarding
Supporting job postings, screening, interview coordination, new starter paperwork, and induction activities.
• Employee lifecycle administration
Helping prepare employment documents, updating HR systems, and ensuring accurate employee records.
• Training and development
Coordinating training sessions, maintaining records, and supporting learning initiatives.
• HR compliance, H&S and reporting
Producing basic reports, and helping maintain data accuracy.
• Employee experience and engagement
Supporting wellbeing, communications, events, and engagement activities.
• General HR support
Providing day to day assistance to the wider HR Team and getting involved in team projects and initiatives.


About you…
• Currently studying a relevant degree with a placement year i.e. Human Resource Management and passionate about developing a career in HR.
• Energetic and quick to learn.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Practical attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

What STIHL offers
Salary: £24,000.
Working week: 37.5 hours Monday – Friday.
22 days’ holiday per year plus discretionary days at Christmas.
