Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity within a reputable and well-established workshop in Harlow? Our client is actively recruiting a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their professional team.
This Vehicle Technician position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment, working on a diverse range of vehicles including vans and cars, with excellent prospects for career development.
Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience
- Flexible start times between 8am and 9am, on an 8-hour working day
- One in four Saturdays, working from 9am to 1pm, with overtime pay or time off in lieu
- Supportive and friendly team environment with modern workshop facilities
- Opportunities to enhance diagnostic skills and broaden technical expertise
- Work on a variety of vehicle types, primarily vans and cars, in a well-equipped workshop
Duties as a Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics and repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Perform general servicing and maintenance on a mixed fleet of vans and cars
- Accurately identify vehicle issues and communicate findings effectively to customers
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, maintaining detailed service records
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Maintain all tools and workshop equipment to a high standard
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Strong diagnostic skills are preferred but not essential; qualified general service technicians are encouraged to apply
- Experience working on vans as well as cars is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
