Vehicle Technician – Wokingham
Our client, a reputable automotive employer based in Wokingham, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career within a well-established workshop environment, offering a mix of workshop and mobile service work. The Vehicle Technician role provides competitive earning potential, a Monday to Friday working pattern, and the chance to work with a trusted local business.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £42,000 annually, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, with a one-hour lunch break
- No weekend working
- Hybrid opportunity, combining workshop-based and mobile servicing

Duties:
- Servicing and repairing vehicles, including clutch replacement, cambelt fitting, suspension work, and general maintenance
- Performing wheel alignments and other related tasks at partner garages
- Conducting mobile fleet servicing in a van at customer locations
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Keeping accurate records of all work carried out
Requirements:
- Fully competent Vehicle Technician with experience in clutch, cambelt, suspension, and general repairs.
- Physically fit, tidy, and well-presented
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable with excellent time management skills
- Comfortable working both in the workshop environment and on the road
- Located in or near Wokingham or willing to commute
- No specific formal qualifications are required, but relevant experience is essential
- Able to work the hours of 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday
