Sales Office Administrator | Long Eaton, Nottingham | Full Time, Permanent | 8:30 am to 4:45 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4.00 pm Friday | £29,000-£32,000 DOE
Our client is a well-established manufacturing business within the print and graphics sector, based in Long Eaton. They specialise in a range of print solutions and visual applications, supporting a broad customer base with high-quality output and reliable service.

Are you the right person for the job?
• Essential: Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience using Sage (ideally Sage 200), with strong knowledge of sales order processing and sales ledger functions
• Proven experience in an office-based sales or administrative position
• Confident communicating with customers and suppliers via phone and email
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage data, schedules, and reports accurately
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team (3–4 people)
• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Ideally based within a 20–30 minute commute of Long Eaton
What will your role look like?
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers and handling supplier queries by phone and email
• Using MS Office to manage customer data and schedules, converting these into sales orders
• Processing sales orders daily on Sage 200
• Despatching sales orders on Sage 200, including all relevant paperwork and export documentation where required
• Working closely with the production department to resolve delivery and order queries
• Assisting the Commercial Manager with daily tasks and queries
• Managing quality and inspection documentation for customers
• Raising invoices and credit notes
• Managing Sage 200 sales ledger credit control, including monthly statements and chasing overdue payments
• Using the banking system to input supplier payments and transactions as directed by the Directors
• Producing monthly and annual reports and statements
• Managing office stationery and general office supplies
