Catering Supervisor
£13.50 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands‑on Catering Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day operation of a vibrant street food bistro within a busy workplace campus.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced catering professional who is passionate about fresh, high‑quality food and great customer service, and who enjoys leading teams in a fast‑paced, modern food environment.
About the RoleAs Catering Supervisor, you will support the management team in ensuring the street food bistro operates smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will lead from the front, motivating the team, maintaining excellent food quality, and delivering an outstanding customer experience every day.
Key Responsibilities- Support the daily operation of the street food bistro, ensuring smooth kitchen and service delivery
- Prepare and present delicious food to the highest standards
- Supervise and support culinary and front‑of‑house teams to deliver excellent food and customer service
- Communicate regularly with the management team to monitor KPIs, standards, and targets
- Lead shifts effectively, ensuring service runs efficiently during peak periods
- Act as a visible leader on the floor, setting standards and supporting team performance
- Liaise between customers and catering teams to ensure expectations are consistently exceeded
- Support the training and development of team members, leading by example
- Ensure all Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are implemented and maintained
- Represent the business positively, maintaining a strong and professional brand image
- Passionate about great food and exceptional customer service
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a catering environment
- Previous experience supervising or leading teams in a similar setting
- Holds a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A motivated and ambitious individual keen to develop their catering career
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment
