Vehicle Technician – Blaydon
Our client, a leading Commercial Vehicle specialist recognised across the UK, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team in Blaydon. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to work with a reputable company offering a varied position, industry-leading training, and attractive compensation packages.

- Work schedule: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) with one in four Saturday mornings
Duties:
- Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repair work on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
- Apply technical knowledge as a Vehicle Technician to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues effectively
- Adhere to manufacturer specifications and health and safety regulations
- Ensure customer vehicles are returned to the road promptly
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Use own tools for repairs (own set of tools required)
- MOT testing experience is desirable but not essential
Requirements of this Vehicle Technician role:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
- Proven ability to work to a high standard as a Vehicle Technician with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong commitment to health and safety compliance
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT licence is desirable but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with a desire to develop skills and knowledge
