Job Responsibilities
- Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
- Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.
- Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to produce adhesive-coated tapes.
- Unload finished products from machines, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Work from written or verbal instructions, applying judgement and selectivity as needed.
- Monitor and control product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Utilise basic data entry skills and computer proficiency for operational documentation.
- Operate forklift trucks (FLT) safely, with a valid licence, to handle raw materials and finished goods.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment, demonstrating reliability and excellent timekeeping.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing setting, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Valid forklift truck (FLT) licence.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Reliable timekeeping and a proactive approach to safety.
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating 8-hour shift pattern, including days and evenings, Monday to Friday.
