Primary Supply Teacher – Exeter

TeacherActive is currently recruiting Qualified Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexible work, the chance to gain experience in a variety of schools, or to transition into longer-term and permanent opportunities.

We are working with a number of supportive and welcoming primary schools who require reliable supply teachers to cover day-to-day absence, short-term placements, and longer-term roles.

The Role:

• Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2

  
  

• Following lesson plans or adapting learning where required

  
  

• Maintaining strong classroom management and positive learning environments

  
  

• Supporting pupils to stay engaged and on track with their learning

  
  

• Upholding school safeguarding and behaviour policies

  
  

  Working Pattern:

  • Flexible day-to-day supply work to suit your availability

    
    

  • Opportunities for long-term placements and permanent roles

    
    

  • Work available across a wide network of local Exeter primary schools

    
    

    Guaranteed Pay Scheme Available:

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

      
      

    • Experience teaching within UK primary schools

      
      

    • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

      
      

    • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school environments

      
      

    • A current driving licence and access to a vehicle (beneficial for Guaranteed Pay Scheme)
