A brand‑new company in the logistics sector is growing fast - and we're looking for reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our weekend team!
Location: North West Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: Minimum 8 hours per shift Sunday Bonus: Additional £20 paid on top of hourly rate Shifts: Saturday & Sunday onlyThe Role:
You will be responsible for collecting and delivering laundry to various Travelodge sites across the North West.
- Approximately 7-10 drops per shift
- Handball involved (loading/unloading bags of laundry)
- Working independently with support from a friendly operations team
- This is an IMMEDIATE START role for the right candidates
Responsibilities (Class 2 Driver Duties)
As a qualified Class 2 Driver, you will be expected to:
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in line with UK road laws
- Complete multi‑drop delivery routes efficiently
- Carry out pre‑ and post‑vehicle checks
- Ensure all goods are secured safely
- Load and unload laundry items (handball required)
- Communicate professionally with customers and depot staff
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Report any vehicle defects immediately
- Uphold company standards for safety and customer service
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Tachograph card
- Previous multi‑drop experience preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Able to commit to weekend work
