Summary


The Cardiac Investigations Unit at Hampshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking 1 x Senior Cardiac Physiologist/Cardiac Clinical Scientist specialised inInvasive Cardiology and CRM.

This roles is required to help support the expansion of our service - we have recently opened the Hampshire Hospitals Heart Centre, which is a newly built cath lab unit with two cardiac catheter labs and a 10 bed day case unit. We have also run an Electrophysiology and Ablation service. This role requires cross site working across our 3 HHFT sites in Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester.

We are a dynamic and enthusiastic team of staff working across our hospitals, in a rapidly expanding investigations department which has a strong education and training programme.

An annual review R&R bonus is available for the successful candidates.

Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality cardiac investigation service, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to best practice standards.

Active participation in procedures within the coronary cath laboratory.

Direct involvement in the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).

Supporting 24/7 coverage, working as part of a team covering the Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) on-call rota.

Supporting the delivery of pacing clinics and managing patient follow-up, both in-person and through remote consultations.
