Summary
Situated in the picturesque town of St. Day, Cornwall, Oasis Dowr is a newly established specialist provision that offers a nurturing and inclusive environment for children with complex educational needs. As a SEND Specialist Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, stimulating and personalised learning experience for each student, empowering them to reach their full potential.

- Monitoring and assessing student progress, and using data-driven insights to continuously refine and adapt your teaching approaches
- Providing expert guidance and support to colleagues, contributing to the ongoing professional development of the wider school community
- Advocating for the rights and needs of your students, and working closely with families to ensure a seamless transition between home and school

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Extensive experience working with children who have SEMH and/or Communication and Interaction needs
- In-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families and multidisciplinary teams
