Summary
To ensure the University maximises the value and resilience of its spend through robust category management.
To translate the University’s needs into a multi-year category plan that delivers value for money and mitigates risk, seeking input from collaborating stakeholders from key strategic areas of the institution.
Manage a Category Team consisting of Procurement Manager(s) and Procurement Officer(s) to deliver compliant, high-impact, and complex multi-year procurement pipelines within a defined category area.
The working pattern for this post is full time, however we may be able to support offering reduced hours. Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 08 April 2026
