Working Hours: 5 days over 7 between 8:00am–9:00pm

About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at Twycross Zoo. Working across our busy catering units, you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen team and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across kitchen areas
Supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly
Assisting with general kitchen cleaning duties and organisation
Helping manage waste disposal and recycling in line with site procedures
Supporting the overall kitchen function during busy service periods
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working in a busy kitchen environment
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts between 8:00am and 9:00pm across a 7-day operation
