Structural Engineer 3 years+ (hybrid)

This is an opportunity to join a respected structural engineering practice working on a wide range of high-quality projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. You will be part of an experienced team in an open-plan, collaborative working environment, contributing to innovative and efficient structural design solutions from concept through to completion. You will play a key role in delivering structural designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the successful delivery of projects across all stages.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing structural designs and calculations for a variety of building projects
- Preparing drawings, reports, and technical specifications
- Assisting in the delivery of projects from concept design through to construction
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants
- Attending site visits and project meetings
- Supporting senior engineers in developing efficient and buildable solutions
- Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes
- Contributing to project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets

Experience Required

- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy
- Working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE)
- Experience in structural design using common materials (steel, concrete, masonry, timber)
- Familiarity with structural design software such as TEDDS, Tekla, Robot or similar
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
