What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the promotion of the current post-holder we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to take on the position of Teacher of Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). All three specialisms are welcomed. This role will allow the successful candidate to grow and develop within the Academy while taking on greater responsibility. You will be working closely within a team to promote a positive ethos in classrooms and across the faculty to ensure a stimulating learning environment.
What we need
We are seeking to recruit an exceptional full time Teacher of Science to join us in September 2026. The successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to enhance their career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop their pedagogy and practice. Experience of teaching Science across KS3-5 is essential. In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the development of the Science faculty and the Academy as a whole.
The post would suit experienced teachers or ECTs, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place.
