We are looking for someone who has:
• High standards of personal hygiene.
• The ability to complete tasks speedily and accurately.
• The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils, staff and visitors.
• The ability to work either alone or as part of a team.
• The ability to complete all necessary documentation including timesheets, temperature sheets and cleaning schedules
Your duties will include:
• The preparation and simple cooking of food & beverages.
• Serving pupils at the counter/hatch or from a trolley or kiosk as required.
• To undertake all aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy), walls (up to 6ft.) floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware etc. as directed.

We are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to work at Witham Oaks Academy, this position is initially a fixed term contract whilst the substantive postholder is on maternity leave.
This position is for 10 hours per week. (Monday to Friday, 11.45am – 1.45pm, (Term-time only + one week (non-pupil days)) required asap.
Salary - Scale 2 point 3 (actual starting salary £5,745 per annum)
This is a fixed term position to cover for the absence of the substantive postholder on leave. Should the employee return to duty, your appointment will cease with statutory notice.
