Summary

About the RoleWe are partnering with a variety of primary schools across Rochdale who are looking for confident, enthusiastic and committed Primary Instructors (Unqualified Teachers) to support teaching and learning.
This role is ideal for trainee teachers who:

  • Have completed their final assessed placement
  • Are currently finishing their final dissertation
  • Want to strengthen whole‑class teaching experience
  • Are confident stepping into the classroom to deliver prepared lessons

As a Primary Instructor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Creating a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development
  • Working closely with staff across different Rochdale schools
  • Building valuable experience prior to securing an ECT position

What We're Looking For

  • Currently completing a BA (Hons) Primary Education degree
  • Completed your final teaching placement
  • Confident in managing classroom routines and behaviour
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate about supporting pupils across the Rochdale area
