About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 3 NVQ qualified Car/Van Technician to join our busy workshop in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and rectification of mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and health checks in line with DVSA standards
- Complete MOT preparation work (MOT licence desirable but not essential)
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed time frames
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Follow all health and safety procedures within the workshop
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience working as a vehicle technician or mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential)
