The role
Healthwatch Oldham and Healthwatch Tameside are looking for an organised, people-focused team member to help us deliver our mission of improving health and care services for local residents. In this varied role, you’ll work as part of the Healthwatch Oldham and Tameside teams to support board and team meetings,
help run public events, and be a friendly point of contact for members of the public.
You’ll input engagement data and keep our CRM database up to date, update our websites and newsletters and you’ll support volunteer administration . You’ll also help ensure our information resources are accurate and accessible, and may work with other Action Together teams when needed
The ideal candidate
We’re looking for someone highly organised, detail‑driven, and proactive, with experience supporting projects and working to tight deadlines. You’ll have strong communication skills, be confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, committed to equality and inclusion, and able to travel when needed.
Salary: £28,598- £31,537per annum (actual pro rata salary £16,682-£18,397 per annum)
NJC: Grade 5 SP 12-18
Hours: 21 per week (part time)
Length of contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2027
Location: Hybrid (work from home and at our office and in communities across Tameside and Oldham)
