Machinery Packaging & Shipping Operative – Barnsley – Permanent Role

Winner Recruitment are currently recruiting for a hands-on Machinery Packaging & Shipping Operative to join a leading, well-established manufacturing company in Barnsley on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build custom packaging solutions for machinery using pallets, timber, and other materials

  
  

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials safely and accurately

  
  

• Prepare machinery for dispatch, ensuring items are secure and protected

  
  

• Load and unload goods efficiently

  
  

• Carry out quality checks to maintain high standards

  
  

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

  
  

  What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment

    
    

  • Experience using hand and power tools

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

    
    

  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
