We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school based in the Preston (PR1) area. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 support for multiple children across KS1, helping them access learning and thrive in the classroom environment.
- Deliver 1:1 SEN support for pupils across Key Stage 1.
- Assist with personalised learning strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement support plans.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Encourage engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.
- Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- A patient, empathetic and resilient approach to working with young learners.
- Ability to adapt support strategies to meet a range of needs.

Experience working with children with:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
- Supportive primary school setting with a strong SEN team.
- Long-term stability with full-time working hours.
- Competitive hourly pay and consistent weekly hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
