Summary
Ready to lead, innovate, and make a real impact? Join us as a Senior Account Manager and drive the growth and success of key client accounts. You'll shape strategy, build deep relationships, and enable high-performing teams, all while helping us deliver better outcomes for our clients. We're looking for someone based between Newcastle and Glasgow who is willing to travel extensively, especially during the first 6 to 12 months, to build strong client relationships and drive account growth.
You must be eligible to gain Security Clearance for this role.

What you'll be doing
• lead the growth, retention, and strategic development of existing client accounts
• drive account-based strategies that deliver value and support divisional goals
• identify and pursue opportunities for re-tender, renewal, and new business
• build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-create solutions and deliver seamless transitions
• apply data-driven approaches for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
What we're looking for
Essential:
• proven experience in account management, ideally within complex or client-focused environments
• ability to build, nurture, and maintain deep, trusted client relationships
• engaging communicator who converts client needs into value opportunities
• operates effectively at senior and mid-levels in client environments
• collaborative mindset, driving shared outcomes with the wider sales engine
• models account management and sales best practice to create and close growth opportunities
• inspires and develops diverse teams to win profitable, enduring business
Desirable:
• current Security Clearance would be advantageous
