Our client, an established independent family-run bodyshop located in Hayes / Southall, is currently looking for a skilled MET Technician to join their busy team. Duties:
- Carry out all mechanical and bodywork repairs on assigned vehicles
- Dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Re-assemble vehicles using new parts as required
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing for safety and quality compliance
- Identify faults or potential safety issues and address them appropriately
- Road test vehicles in a safe and legal manner to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MET Technician in a busy automotive environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Quality-conscious with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively
- ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
