Summary
A global organisation is looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner to support a major piece of work focused on organisational hierarchy and workforce planning. This role is ideal for someone who understands how large businesses operate, can translate complexity into structure, and is comfortable working across HR, Finance, and corporate functions.
Hybrid working: 5 days a week in a London-based office
Duration: Initial 12 months
Rate: Up to £750pd inside ir35 via PAYE
What you'll be doing
- Mapping the full organisational hierarchy - cost centres, structures, approval flows, and how corporate functions interact.
- Capturing what the business needs, required hierarchies, and system dependencies.
- Discovery work: understanding what the business needs before tools and processes move/change.
- Visualising the future hierarchy and how it should be mapped (strong Business Analyst focus).
- Working with data teams to interpret and structure org data.
- Partnering with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Business Management, and technical teams to capture requirements.
- Understanding how businesses use tools today and what they need beyond simple maintenance.
- Supporting workforce planning and organisational design for a large, complex environment.
- Handling adhoc analysis and clarification as the technical team winds down.

- Strong BA skillset with experience mapping org structures and business processes.
- Data‑driven, comfortable working with org/HR data.
- Experience in workforce planning and organisational design.
- Background working in large, complex organisations (ideally Financial Services).
- Able to translate business needs into clear system and structural requirements.
- Confident working across multiple teams and navigating ambiguity.
