About the role:

The Governing Body of the Atherstone and Bedworth Heath Maintained Nursery School Federation is seeking an inspiring, knowledgeable and deeply committed Executive Headteacher to lead our vibrant nursery community. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing exceptional early years education and outstanding support for children and their families.

Working closely with the Head of School, Senior Leadership Team, Nursery Lead Teachers, dedicated staff, parents and carers, governors and the local authority, the Executive Headteacher will play a central role in sustaining and strengthening the high‑quality provision across our Federation. This is a wonderful opportunity for a leader who is motivated by collaboration, driven by a strong moral purpose and excited to make a lasting difference for children, families and the wider community.

Key Requirements:

The Executive Headteacher position is ideal for a current Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher, or Early Years Lead who has a strong Early Years background and experience in leading teams of Early Years educators. This role offers an exciting opportunity to further develop your leadership skills while making a meaningful impact within your school community.

You will be joining a federation who places a high value on Early Years practice, supported by a committed leadership team who share this vision.

Relevant Allowances:

In this role, you will work across both schools, with time at each site carefully scheduled into your weekly plan. This ensures you have a balanced, well‑structured timetable and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both settings.
