Hybrid: Stopford House and homeworking (minimum expectation is 2 days a week office based and you may be required to work from any of the Council’s sites across the borough)

Your Role
As a School Admissions and Transport Officer you will support the delivery of services offered by the School Places, Admissions and Transport Team. Initially supporting with the day to day running of the Home to School Transport Service, whilst working alongside School Admissions colleagues. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking personal responsibility for high quality customer services and a safe working environment
- Undertaking high risk, high cost and complex processes ensuring complete accuracy and quality assurance
- Identifying, responding and resolving issues arising. Making decisions based upon specific instructions, standard practices, and established procedures that generally require some interpretation.
About You
We are looking for someone who works well as part of a small team. You will need to prioritise your work to be able to meet strict timescales. You will need good problem-solving skills, an attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

The School Admissions and Transport Team are a small team who support families when applying for school places and support eligible families with their travel assistance to and from school.
