Job Opportunity: Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist – Divisional Lead, Adults’ Specialist Rehabilitation (ASR)

BCHC is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologistto take on the role ofDivisional Lead Psychologistwithin our Adults’ Specialist Rehabilitation (ASR) division.

In this senior role, you will:
• Provide overall leadership of the psychology service provisionacross the ASR division. This includes, providing,strategic, professional clinical and,organisational development.
• Oversee a wide range of services, includingneurological rehabilitation(Level 1b inpatients, stroke inpatients and outpatients, acquired brain injury (ABI) outpatients, specialist clinics), as well asmusculoskeletal/pain management,child/adult amputee services, andweight management services.
• You will be supported by a strong psychology team that includestwo other consultant clinical psychologists, and receive guidance from theTrust head of psychology and psychological services.
• Be an integral part of theASR Division senior management team, contributing to the overall leadership and direction of the division.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead psychology services in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation setting.

• The post holder will be responsible for strategic planning, organisational development, professional management and overall professional delivery of all psychology service provision in conjunction with the Divisional Leadership Team across ASR.
• To be the Psychology and Psychological Therapies professional lead and advisor and Lead Consultant Psychologist for ASR Divisional services, ensuring the delivery of psychological governance strategies across ASR services.
• To be professionally accountable for existing Psychology and Psychological Therapy services and ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality psychological governance strategies across ASR services and represent the service within senior management and commissioning forums.
