Summary

Assembly Operative Wanted - Smethwick

The Best Connection is currently recruiting an Assembly Operative on behalf of our client based in Smethwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, friendly production team with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful trial period.

Pay Rate

£12.70 per hour

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 07:15 - 16:05
Friday: 07:15 - 12:05 (early finish!)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating machinery to assemble bicycle components, including saddles

  • Sanding, polishing, finishing, and riveting parts

  • Packing finished products ready for dispatch

  • Supporting the team with additional tasks as required by the supervisor

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

  • Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance

  • Good communication skills

  • Comfortable operating machinery and hand tools

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
