At Greenwood, a top-tier respite service for adults with learning disabilities located in Bexhill-on Sea, we are looking for a passionate Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team. Our beautifully refurbished facility provides a warm, hotel-style atmosphere complete with en-suite accommodations and interactive sensory equipment to enrich our guests’ experiences.

We offer a fun holiday experience for short respite stays, promoting life skills, independence, community presence, and opportunities for guests to forge new friendships.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be part of our management structure, supporting both staff and guests day-to-day. You will lead a team, complete handovers, give feedback to management, and help implement service improvements. You'll provide personalised support to people with a learning disability in accordance with their individual support plan. You will identify and review the needs of individuals, making sure that effective support is provided and supervise support staff within a designated team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service.

Our rotas operate on a 6-week rolling schedule, with Senior support workers completing both early shifts from 07:00 to 15:00 and late shifts from 14:00 to 22:00, please note this includes working 2 in every 3 weekends.
