We are looking for a Support Worker for our Respite Service in Bexhill. Greenwood has 14-ensuite bedrooms and offers short term breaks with a range of activities both within the building and grounds and out in the community. At times it can be challenging but supporting someone with a learning disability is an amazing job! You will witness them grow, which is incredible to watch, and be the person that supports them to do that it.

This rewarding role will involve supporting guests both emotionally and physically in their daily lives, and at times when they may be distressed or display behaviours that challenge. No two days are the same. Support Workers are there to support guests to ensure they are safe and their wellbeing is looked after, giving medication, making drinks and snacks if required. The role also includes performing security checks and cleaning roles to uphold a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring the building is safe for guests.

The role involves shifts working 32 hours on a rolling 6 week rota including evenings and weekends. ​
