We aim to Inspire and support midwives to realise their full potential as autonomous practitioners, optimizing safe birth outcomes whilst being able to support the the high-risk pathway. We lead midwives to build their confidence in evidence-based practice to empower them to challenge the traditional model and so change practice.

We also have an active team of Professional Midwifery Advocates to further enhance the support we can offer our midwives and families.

Our shift patterns are flexible 8 & 12 hours long. Full or part time hours will be considered.

The Maternity Unit has around 5000 births a year, up to 20% of births will be on our Midwifery Led Unit, a 5-suite unit with 3 birthing pools and a home like feel that women and families value.
