Teaching Assistant - Full Time (Term Time Only) - Special Needs School, Wakefield - Start ASAP (March 2026)
NextGen Teachers are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a special needs school in Pontefract, Wakefield, supporting pupils with complex and high-level needs across the secondary age range. This is a full-time, term-time-only role, starting ASAP in March 2026, with the opportunity for a long-term placement.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and complex needs, including those requiring additional support for communication, behaviour, and daily learning activities.
Candidates applying for this role MUST be available full-time and have previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be comfortable with personal care.
