JOB ROLE – TO SUPPORT MY SONE WHO HAS AUTISM & ADHD
6 HOURS PER WEEK TO WORK IN THE COMMUNITY IN WAKEFIELD WF10
As his PA you will help him engage in social activities, including attending clubs and giving him opportunities to do the things he enjoys. There may be occasions where support is required on family days out.
Experience and understanding of learning disabilities is desirable.
He can become anxious in busy environments but is chatty and enjoys swimming and visiting the cinema. He enjoys arts and crafts and designing. He likes using his playstation and likes to be at home. He does enjoy walking and finds walking by the river calming. He does not like to give eye contact. He also has two younger siblings.
He is a lovely 12 year old so we are looking for someone to develop a relationship with him that is mutually beneficial. We feel it is important for this to be more than a job and the ideal applicant will feel the same. Confidentiality is of the upmost importance.
Training will be offered a dbs and right to work completed and references taken up.
