Summary
We’re looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Felbrigg Hall, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract/duration: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: 13 hours per week over two days. Typically, you'll work one weekend shift and one weekday shift per week. Rotas are prepared at least one month in advance.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
As a member of the retail team, you’ll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You’ll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.
You’ll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
Who we're looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
focused on giving great service to everyone you meet
a team player, but also happy to work on your own initiative
well-organised and adaptable
willing to learn new skills
