This role is ideal if you:

- Former Royal Navy CIS / WE(C) / Communications specialists

- Civilian communications, RF, IT, telecoms, or systems engineers

- Technical professionals with hands on experience who want to move into training What you'll be doing

As a Training Delivery Instructor, you'll deliver Communications Systems training to Royal Navy students on Phase 2 and Phase 3 Weapons Engineering courses.

You'll:

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality Communications training across the Weapons Engineering Department
• Support learners in classroom, simulated and synthetic training environments
• Use performance insight and learner feedback to continuously improve training delivery
• Work closely with Training Delivery and Learning & Development teams to support personalised learning
• Maintain consistent quality and standards across all Communications training
• Contribute to the introduction of new and modernised training as Selborne continues to evolve

What we're looking for:

Essential

• Practical experience of Royal Navy or equivalent communications systems

Desirable

• Previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring or instruction
• A Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to complete one - we'll support you)
• If you're technically strong and motivated to develop others, we'll help you grow into the instructor role.
