About the Role
Join Oxfordshire County Council’s finance team tosupport revenue budget planning and reporting.You’llsupport the council’s financial strategy, manage the annual budget process, and produce key reports for leadership and Cabinet.The role requires a CCAB qualification, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Flexible working arrangements and significant responsibility for a £999m budget.
This is a flexible role, offering the opportunity to work across various locations in Oxfordshire in line with the council’s agile working policy.You will play a key part in ensuring the council’s financial integrity andsupporting high-quality public service delivery.
About you
You are a qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA) with experience in financial planning and reporting. You communicateconfidently and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You’re proactive, commercially aware, and skilled at identifying opportunities to improve processes. Yoursupport inspires high performance, and you thrive in a flexible,collaborative environment.
You are organised, proactive, and able to coordinate and deliver to tight deadlines. You are comfortablesupporting a team, and you thrive in a flexible, agile working environment.
