The Best Connection - West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Supply Planner to join our prestigious client in West Bromwich. Pay Rate

£17.67 - £21.31 per hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 16:30
Friday: 08:30 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between sales, logistics, purchasing and manufacturing teams

  • Coordinate schedules and allocate resources to meet customer and client demand

  • Compare incoming orders with raw material inventory and forecast supply requirements

  • Integrate sales orders with the master production schedule

  • Maintain and update distribution and production schedules

  • Organise and manage forecasting meetings with sales, operations and project teams

  • Create and distribute daily production schedules to relevant staff

  • Monitor production output to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

  • Collaborate with the Quality Coordinator to ensure product specifications meet expectations

  • Track and communicate production progress and weekly project updates

  • Prepare reports and recommend actions to optimise supply chain performance

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and identify solutions to operational issues

✅ Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain planning, inventory management or a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of production planning systems (MRP)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisation, analytical and critical thinking abilities

  • Thorough understanding of business operations and supply chain processes
