LT Support are supporting a long established nursery group in Havering who are seeking a new deputy manager as the current one moves to a new role internally.
A great opportunity to join a large nursery of approximately 20 staff. Based in central Romford who are viewed as a caring and supportive nursery. There is ongoing career progression available.
The Deputy manager role is room based and will support the nursery and manager with staff supervisions, inductions, deployment etc
Requirements:
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Minimum Level 3 qualification - ideally higher
Responsibilities:
- Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
- Ensure that all correct policies, procedures and practices are adhered to.
- Ensure that all children remain safe whilst attending the setting.
- Understanding the safeguarding and Child protection policies and procedures for the setting
- and local authority procedures
- Be aware and demonstrate a sound knowledge of security procedures, which also relate to
- the dropping off and collection of children of children from the setting.
- Ensure the Data Protection Policy is adhered to at all times.
