Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To sustain a high-quality specialist service for the patient, from diagnosis through all stages of the disease. In particular to provide support, education, and counselling advice on treatment related issues with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. To collaborate with Cancer Care teams, both within The Trust and with primary and acute care providers to ensure a streamlined patient-centred care pathway. In collaboration with the Lead Nurse, Lead CNS, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team, formulate and/or revise relevant policies and guidelines, and to regularly review them following changes/implementation. To always work within the policies and procedures of The Trust. To sustain a high quality specialist service for patients suffering from side effects of cancer treatments.
