Summary

Ensure compliance is measured through completion of audits as required, ensuring the SBL programme directives are met, uploading to the required platforms, to meet timeframes Provide assurance to the Triumvirate , wider trust and LMNS that the requirements of the SBL care bundle will be met as required Work closely with the the Quality and Safety Matron, Head of Midwifery and Clinical Director to deliver the key components of SBL, linking with the other appointed Safer Maternity Care midwives. Undertake related Quality, Safety and governance activities within the maternity service as required, completing investigations within the maternity service as requested by the Quality & Safety Matron specific to the role. Meet on a regular basis with key staff to achieve compliance on individual element requirements Represent the service at LMNS/Regional and National level, specifically in relation to implementation of SBLCBV3 and PMRT as required. The post holder will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, both internal and external, communicating with agencies and user representatives, acting as a representative on external forums when required and collating information in the required format, uploading data to the NHS Futures platform, ensuring that data can be easily accessed by key stakeholders. You will keep abreast of new guidance to ensure that, guidelines and any standard operating procedures are aligned with SBL, feeding any required information and learning into PMRT, to support improvements and learning. You will actively educate yourself with all aspects of SBL and PMRT, stepping out of your comfort zone, to cross cover one another when annual leave or absence occurs.
