Cygnet Healthcare is looking for Bank Learning Disabilities Support Workers to join our team working at Cygnet Ashbrook.

Cygnet Ashbrook has 9 self-contained bungalows supporting adults over the age of 18 with learning difficulties & autism located in Bordsley Green.

Day Shifts: 07:45 am till 08:00 pm

Night Shifts: 07:45 pm till 08:00 am

Cygnet Ashbrook is a supported living service that supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association. Individuals who are interested in living here may have previously been detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step-down placement within their local community.

About the Role...

  • Helping to promote resident independence

  • Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence

  • Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers

  • Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities

  • Completing the resident’s records to help monitor health
