Machine Operator
Location: Rhyl
Salary: £26,775 per annum
Hours: 3-shift rota – 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

Hexagon Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business in the Rhyl area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, long-term position within a modern and growing production environment.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient and consistent output. You will play an important role in maintaining product quality, supporting production targets, and ensuring equipment runs safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery in line with manufacturing specifications.

  
  

• Load materials and monitor machine performance during production runs.

  
  

• Carry out routine quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

  
  

• Identify and report faults, carrying out basic troubleshooting where appropriate.

  
  

• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.

  
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company procedures.

  
  

• Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

  
  Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment.

    
    

  • Good understanding of production processes and machine operation.

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.

    
    

  • Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills.

    
    

  • Awareness of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing setting.
