Summary
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Counter Assistant to joint our Butcher's shop team. The role involves serving customers, handling payments, general clean and pot washing. Helping keep the shop clean and well presented.
Key responsibilities:
- Serving customers in a polite and helpful manner
- Taking orders and preparing items for sale
- Using the till and handling cash and card payments
- Wrapping, weighing and labelling products
- keeping the counter, equipment and shop clean and tidy
- Restocking displays as needed
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures
Skills & Requirements:
- Good customer service skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic math skills
- Pervious retail or food experience is helpful but not essential
