About the Service

Our Pollok Housing Support Service in Glasgow provides person‑centred support to three deafblind women with complex needs. Communication and connection are at the heart of our work, ensuring support is delivered in a meaningful, respectful way. We are proud to be graded 6 – Excellent by the Care Inspectorate and to have been awarded Team of the Year 2025.


Who We Support

The three women we support live independently and enjoy active, structured routines—swimming, long walks, meals out, and new experiences. You’ll support them 1:1, helping them maintain their homes, stay healthy, and live full, independent lives.


Your role will include:

>Personal care, housework, medication, meal prep, and supporting finances
>Building strong, trusting relationships
>Supporting communication and personal outcomes
>Liaising with families and professionals
>Recording daily tasks accurately
>Working effectively as part of a team


Shift Pattern: This role offers 35 hours per week with a mix of:

>Day shifts: 07:30–14:30
>Late shifts: 14:30–21:30
>Mid shifts: 09:00–17:00 / 12:00–20:00 (depending on planned activities)
>Flexibility is key, and rotas are planned fairly.
