We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our friendly and supportive nursery team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment where children can thrive.
As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development through engaging activities, creative learning experiences, and personalised care. You will work closely with colleagues and families to ensure every child receives the best possible start in life.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver fun, age appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
* Create a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children in line with safeguarding policies
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear and supportive communication
* Observe and record children's progress and maintain accurate learning and development records
* Support children’s individual needs, including behaviour guidance and personalised care plans
* Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
* Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social skills
* Work collaboratively with the team to develop creative and engaging learning experiences
* Support continuous improvements that enhance the quality of care and learning within the nursery
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, although not essential
* A strong understanding of early childhood development and learning through play
* A recognised UK childcare qualification (Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach when working with children
* The ability to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners
