Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and confident individual to join our Commercial Team as an a Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will:
• To identify, document, manage and, where appropriate, escalate risks.
• Support the Marketing Manage in developing commercial relationships with our third parties
• Supporting the Branch colleagues with requests for community work
• Day to day responsibility as 1st line support for website amendments and product set up
• Work with third party companies to monitor the Society’s Social Media channels.
• To have day to day responsibility for the Society’s promotional approval framework, including the completion and management of Dot Approve
• Support the Marketing Manager to write and distribute effective press releases and eDMs to promote product launches, criteria niches, community initiatives and distribution channels.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with budget controls by obtaining relevant quotes for marketing items prior to orders being placed.
What you will bring:
• Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Disciplined planner and organiser, demonstrated through quality delivery.
• Adaptable and resilient in overcoming problems.
• Marketing experience or qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Experience of working to high levels of accuracy.
