About The Role
At Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, volunteers play a vital role in helping us deliver our services and activities across the county. We are looking for a Volunteering Administrator to join our People Team and help ensure every volunteer has a welcoming, positive and well supported experience from the moment they get in touch with us.

This is a flexible, part time role working 22.5 hours per week, with the ability to shape your working pattern across the week. It’s a hybrid position, giving you the option to work from home or possibly from one of our offices, with occasional travel required to our Brighton office and potentially other locations when supporting other events or team activity.

Working closely with the Volunteer Manager, you will help keep our volunteer processes running smoothly - from enquiries and onboarding to training and ongoing engagement. You’ll build positive relationships with potential, new and existing volunteers and support managers and coordinators across our services who rely on volunteers to deliver their work.

You’ll also provide day to day administrative support to the volunteering function and wider People Team, ensuring our systems are accurate, well organised and accessible. Your contribution will help volunteers feel valued, informed and part of our community.

We’re looking for someone friendly, organised and confident using IT systems, who enjoys helping people and can work both independently and as part of a supportive team. If you’d like to use your skills to support a cause with real impact, this could be a great opportunity for you.

For an informal chat about the role, please contact: Richard Harris, Volunteer Manager - 01273 021620 - richard.harris@ageukwsbh.org.uk

If you feel you have the passion for the role but may not have all the skills we’d love to talk to you, so please do get in contact.

Benefits
We value our team and offer a brilliant benefits package, including:
• Flexible working options
• Ongoing professional development
• 28 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata for part-time roles)
• Blue Light Card eligibility
• BUPA Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
• 4% auto-enrolment pension with life assurance
• Cycle to Work Scheme
